In Halden Tradition:
Under the motto “Together for Halden,” a charity dinner will take place at the ARCADEON Landhotel Halden for the 8th time on December 1, 2016.
At 7:30 PM, the ARCADEON Landhotel Halden will open its doors for a good cause. “Together for Halden” is an initiative of the citizens of Halden and ARCADEON, which is fully sponsoring all food and ingredients to be prepared. The campaign aims to support the ecumenical youth forum in Halden, which relies on donations.
This year’s motto for the amateur chefs is: “Inspirational Poultry Christmas.” The classic roast duck will be served with cherry sauce, and the corn-fed poularde with sweet potato soufflé.
These are just a few examples of the creativity of the cooking team under the expert guidance of ARCADEON Sous Chef Roberto Oswald.

The total proceeds—consisting of the €30 admission fee per person. as well as the tips from the waiters, who are waiving them this evening—will be made 100% available to the ecumenical youth forum. In the past 7 years, a total of around €20,700 has been handed over to the youth forum, almost 15% of which came from tip income.
The charity event is part of the opening of the 1st Advent window in Halden, to which everyone is cordially invited. Afterward, for the 100 lucky ticket holders, including 15 volunteer amateur chefs, the motto is: “Together for Halden.” The organizers look forward to a successful start to the Advent season!
