Responsibilities:

During your training with us, you will become familiar with all areas of the hotel kitchen and quickly take on responsible tasks, such as:

  • Preparation and cooking of cold and hot dishes
  • Arranging buffets, menus, and à la carte dishes
  • Processing fresh and seasonal ingredients
  • Insight into modern kitchen techniques and presentation
  • Participation in events, BBQs, receptions, and weddings
  • Planning and organizing workflows and purchasing
  • Implementation of hygiene and quality standards (HACCP)
  • Support with goods receipt, storage, and control
  • Contributing to creative recipe ideas and weekly menus
  • Teamwork with service, event management, and technical staff

 

Working Hours:

  • Your working hours are based on the training framework plan and the operational schedules
  • You will work in shifts – which means occasional assignments on weekends or public holidays
  • In return, you will naturally have regulated days off and rest periods
  • Your training remuneration follows the current collective bargaining recommendations of DEHOGA NRW
  • Additional benefits such as meals, gym access, and employee discounts are included
  • Overtime is recorded and compensated with time off
  • For exceptional performance or commitment, we are happy to show our appreciation with small extras
