Press Release ARCADEON Hagen by Claudia Bachmann
ARCADEON applied within the scope of the DEHOGA ‘Quality Training’ Initiative and has now been recognized for its excellent training.
The certificate presentation took place in a celebratory setting at ARCADEON. Present were DEHOGA Managing Director Lars Martin and ARCADEON Managing Director Jörg Bachmann, as well as ARCADEON Training Officers Claudia Bachmann and Mario Koch.
At ARCADEON, we focus on providing thorough and comprehensive training for our junior staff. All trainees gain insights into our various departments, according to their training focus areas. We support our trainees not only with specialized knowledge but also give them the opportunity to grow with tasks and challenges. We are therefore particularly pleased about the DEHOGA ‘Quality Training’ certificate, says Managing Director Jörg Bachmann.
Since 1998, ARCADEON has been training apprentices in the professions of hotel specialist, chef, and event manager, and currently employs a total of 60 staff members, 12 of whom hold trainer qualifications, thus ensuring successful training in the individual departments with their expertise. Additional training sessions and meetings take place here once a month. Currently, 8 apprentices are being trained as chefs and hotel specialists.
“Ultimately, qualified employees are the foundation for entrepreneurial success and therefore an important investment in our own future, as well as in the future of our industry. We see a great opportunity in the ‘Quality Training’ initiative to sustainably secure quality in the industry,” says Managing Director Jörg Bachmann.
The aim of the initiative is also to offer young people guidance in choosing their apprenticeship. Participation is voluntary and currently limited to training companies affiliated with DEHOGA state associations from the hotel and catering industry. It is based on ten guiding principles that every training company must meet to qualify for participation (available on the initiative’s website, link below).
A minimum score must be achieved in an application process. Participation is valid for two years, after which re-qualification is required. Apprentices within the company itself are also specifically included.
